According to a report from Mundo Deportivo journalist Fernando Polo (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>), FC Barcelona<\/a> has a limit of \u20ac60 million that it would spend on Liverpool FC<\/a> attacker Luis Diaz. <\/p>\n

That should leave Bayern Munich<\/a> in pole position to win the race for Diaz: <\/p>\n

Barcelona have set \u20ac60m as a limit of what they\u2019re willing to pay for Luis D\u00edaz, and will not be involved in a bidding war with Bayern. Hansi Flick and Deco want the Colombian, who is their top target, but the signing is very complicated. If Bayern keep increasing the bidding, then there\u2019s nothing Bar\u00e7a can do as they have no intention of doing anything crazy.<\/p>\n

At this point, Bayern Munich could be in a spot where it is bidding against itself…which presents an interesting conundrum. Liverpool<\/a> reportedly wants \u20ac80 million and Bayern Munich\u2019s last bid was \u20ac67.5 million.<\/p>\n

Which side will give in first?<\/p>\n
