{"id":216839,"date":"2025-10-11T13:36:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-11T13:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/216839\/"},"modified":"2025-10-11T13:36:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-11T13:36:12","slug":"amc-networks-ceo-kristin-dolan-re-upped-through-2028","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/216839\/","title":{"rendered":"AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan Re-Upped Through 2028"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/amc-networks\/\" id=\"auto-tag_amc-networks\" data-tag=\"amc-networks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AMC Networks<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ceo\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ceo\" data-tag=\"ceo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CEO<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/kristin-dolan\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kristin-dolan\" data-tag=\"kristin-dolan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kristin Dolan<\/a>, who took over the top job during a time of upheaval for the company, has had her contract re-upped through 2028.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe media company disclosed the news Friday in an SEC filing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDolan, whose family controls the shares of AMC Networks and other media and entertainment entities, was <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2023\/02\/amc-networks-kristin-dolan-ceo-1235261052\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">named CEO<\/a> in early 2023. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe CEO\u2019s new contract will pay her a base salary of $2 million, rising to $2.1 million next year, with millions more designated through bonuses and stock awards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAMC Networks, formerly Rainbow Media, has been a publicly traded company since 2011. Due to cord-cutting and other pressures weighing on its linear networks, among them AMC, IFC and We TV, the company\u2019s shares have fallen steadily, dropping 24% in 2025 to date and closing Friday at $7.52. Along with declining linear networks, the company has a growing collection of subscription streaming outlets, among them Shudder, AMC+ and Acorn TV, as well as several dozen FAST channels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAs CEO, Dolan has focused on initiatives like creating a block of original programming licensed to Netflix, building out the Walking Dead and Anne Rice franchises and tapping her ad tech background to inject new energy into the company\u2019s sales efforts. Prior to joining the company as CEO, she ran her own analytics firm 605, which was sold to ad tracker iSpot in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDolan is the wife of AMC Networks chairman James Dolan (though the pair is separated) and has worked as a media and entertainment exec for more than three decades. She succeeded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/12\/amc-networks-james-dolan-christina-spade-1235190107\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Christina Spade, the company\u2019s former CFO<\/a>\u00a0who parted ways with the company after a brief CEO stint that coincided with turbulence for the industry and the broader economy.
