\n\tGoldie Hawn<\/a> says that her friend Diane Keaton<\/a> never liked praise. But now, Hawn says, \u201cyou can\u2019t tell me to \u2018shut up\u2019 honey.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a heartfelt tribute on social media, Hawn wrote that Keaton, who died at 79, \u201cstole the hearts of the world and shared your genius with millions, making films that made us laugh and cry in ways only you could. I was blessed to make First Wives Club with you, our day starting with coffee in the makeup trailer, laughing and joking, right through to the very last day of filming. It was a roller coaster of love.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHawn starred opposite Keaton and Bette Midler in the 1996 film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe agreed to grow old together,\u201d Hawn continued. \u201cAnd one day, maybe live together with all our girlfriends. Well, we never got to live together, but we did grow older together. Who knows\u2026maybe in the next life.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tMidler also remembered Keaton Saturday by writing, \u201cI cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me. She was hilarious, a complete original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was\u2026oh, la, lala!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother beauty from The First Wives Club shared her thoughts about Keaton. In the comedy that also starred Victor Garber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Dan Hedaya, Marcia Gay Harden played Keaton\u2019s therapist who ultimately slept with her husband (Stephen Collins).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOh how we are going to miss this beautiful, unique, talented, compassionate woman!\u201d Harden wrote. \u201cAll jokes aside, indeed she did \u2018work from love and grow from love\u2019 and share it all with us!\u201d<\/p>\n
