Another Samsung Galaxy tri-fold rumor emergesThe phone “may” now be sold in international marketsWe could see an official launch in the next few weeks<\/p>\n

Good news if you were hoping to get your hands on the long-awaited tri-fold foldable phone from Samsung<\/a>: the latest rumor about the device that was first teased in January is that it may be available globally, like most of the best Samsung phones<\/a> before it.<\/p>\n

This comes from sources in touch with SamMobile<\/a>, and counters previous rumors that suggested this handset would be limited to South Korea and China \u2013 similar to the rollout that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition<\/a> had last year.<\/p>\n

However, we shouldn’t get too excited about the news just yet: SamMobile says the phone will go on sale in the UAE, as well as China and South Korea, and that other countries (including the US and the UK) “may” see a launch.<\/p>\n

It sounds then as though there’s still some uncertainty about how many markets this tri-fold is going to be available in \u2013 perhaps even inside Samsung. An official unveiling is expected to happen sometime in the next few weeks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Samsung showed off the tri-fold at its Unpacked event<\/a> for the Galaxy S25 phones in January, and Samsung has stated several times that the foldable is going to break cover sometime during 2025<\/a> \u2013 which we are fast getting to the latter stages of.<\/p>\n

While there hasn’t been much else said officially, the rumors point to the phone being powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset<\/a>, and there has also been talk of 16GB of RAM and a titanium frame<\/a> in recent months.<\/p>\n

The hinges and the speakers could be borrowed<\/a> from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7<\/a>, according to leaks, while there have also been hints of a 10-inch main display<\/a> and rather underwhelming charging specs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All the signs point to a premium phone with a premium price<\/a>, and while this isn’t quite confirmation that we’re going to get a full global launch for the tri-fold, it is at least more encouraging than previous rumors<\/a> of limited availability.<\/p>\n
