{"id":22100,"date":"2025-07-19T19:11:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T19:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/22100\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T19:11:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T19:11:08","slug":"unrivaled-announces-nil-deals-with-14-college-players","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/22100\/","title":{"rendered":"Unrivaled announces NIL deals with 14 college players"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INDIANAPOLIS (AP) \u2014 JuJu Watkins, Flau\u2019Jae Johnson and Azzi Fudd are three of 14 top women\u2019s college basketball players that Unrivaled is signing to NIL deals, the league announced Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the second consecutive year that the 3-on-3 league that was founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart has had name, image and likeness deals with college players. In it\u2019s inaugural season, Unrivaled had deals with Paige Bueckers and Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>Watkins, who plays for Southern California but is sidelined with an ACL injury, has also previously been involved with Unrivaled as an investor in its Series A funding round.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson, who is at LSU, and Fudd, at UConn, both were on hand for the announcement, as were Notre Dame\u2019s Hannah Hidalgo and UConn\u2019s Sarah Strong.<\/p>\n<p>Other players signed include TCU\u2019s Olivia Miles, UCLA\u2019s Kiki Rice and Lauren and Sienna Betts, Texas\u2019 Madison Booker, Iowa State\u2019s Audi Crooks, LSU\u2019s MiLaysia Fulwiley, South Carolina Ta\u2019Niya Latson and Michigan\u2019s Syla Swords. The players range from sophomores to seniors.<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s basketball players have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/wnba-nil-flaujae-hidalgo-miles-68712270749e8f30d3b6ee6672ddccce\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">been able to take advantage of NIL opportunities<\/a>\u00a0over the last few years with Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Bueckers and Johnson at the forefront of it.
