\n Stephen Colbert might have a future in this acting thing.\n <\/p>\n

\n The late night talk show host is staying booked and busy, even as the months wind down for his \u201cThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n It was announced in July<\/a> by CBS that the show would be ending in May 2026, so another one of the network\u2019s shows had some fun with Colbert being \u201ckilled off.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n On the season three premiere of \u201cElspeth,\u201d Colbert had a cameo as a talk show host who dies. (The Show reunited him<\/a> with long-time collaborator Amy Sedaris, too.)\n <\/p>\n

\n And that\u2019s not his only acting gig.\n <\/p>\n

\n Colbert is also keeping in it the Paramount (the parent company of CBS) family by voicing the character of the Starfleet Academy\u2019s Digital Dean of Students on the forthcoming \u201cStar Trek: Starfleet Academy\u201d series.\n <\/p>\n

\n He made the announcement in a video shared during New York ComicCon.\n <\/p>\n
