Apple launched ChatGPT integration<\/a> last December in iOS 18.2, and based on code changes in iOS 26.1 beta 3, it seems the company is getting ready to add more new third-party AI integrations soon.<\/p>\n Code change in iOS 26.1 shows Apple preparing for new AI integrations<\/p>\n Today Apple released<\/a> iOS 26.1 beta 3, with a new Apple TV app icon<\/a> but seemingly not a lot else.<\/p>\n However, one change in code reveals bigger updates in the works.<\/p>\n Aaron Perris posted on X<\/a>:<\/p>\n With iOS 26.1 beta 3, Apple is getting closer to allowing additional 3rd party AI-integration. <\/p>\n Apple has replaced “Report a concern related to ChatGPT” to “Report a concern related to a Third Party” pic.twitter.com\/25zW9WLeNh<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Aaron (@aaronp613) October 13, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n We\u2019ve been expecting additional AI integrations for a while now. Back when iOS 18 was first unveiled in June 2024, Craig Federighi mentioned that Google Gemini support might come later.<\/p>\n So far though, ChatGPT has remained the only third-party option in iOS.<\/p>\n But based on this code change, Apple could be planning to launch new AI integrations soon.<\/p>\n It\u2019s possible we\u2019ll get Google Gemini support or another third-party integration as early as iOS 26.1\u2019s public launch later this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n More likely though, iOS 26.2 or later are being targeted by Apple.<\/p>\n If Apple does ship new AI integrations in iOS 26.1, those additions could pair nicely with the other Apple Intelligence expansions<\/a> in the release.<\/p>\n However, since there\u2019s been no opportunity so far to beta test such features, my guess is they won\u2019t arrive until a future software update.<\/p>\n Which third-party AI integrations do you most want to see in iOS 26?
