WireImage<\/p>\n \u201cWe want you to see this,\u201d Love, 84, told the audience during a show at the Meritage Resort in Napa, California, on Sunday, per\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe lost Brian earlier this year, but he will always be in our hearts,\u201d the \u201cGood Vibrations\u201d singer continued as a photo montage of\u00a0Wilson played across the screen. \u201cIt\u2019s like he\u2019s still here.\u201d<\/p>\n Love and his band then went on to play several Beach Boys hits during the concert, including \u201cCalifornia Girls,\u201d \u201cSurfin\u2019 Safari,\u201d \u201cWouldn\u2019t It Be Nice\u201d and \u201cGod Only Knows.\u201d<\/p>\n Brian Wilson in Los Angeles, California, in 1965. Love & Mercy.\u201d<\/p>\n Love, meanwhile, reflected on his relationship with his late bandmate and cousin during the 2025 Songwriters\u2019 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which was held just one day after Wilson\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I think what it is is Brian\u2019s with us tonight. Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cYou know, we co-created these great songs together, and so we\u2019re inseparable really in life and afterlife too, so I do really feel his presence and, yeah, I\u2019ve known him all his life,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m one year older.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cI Get Around\u201d crooner remembered Wilson in a lengthy Instagram post as well, which he shared alongside old home movies and footage of the band performing<\/a> from back in the \u201960s and \u201970s.<\/p>\n \u201cBrian Wilson wasn\u2019t just the heart of The Beach Boys \u2013 he was the soul of our sound,\u201d\u00a0Love wrote in part. \u201cFrom the first time we sang together as kids in my living room, I knew there was something otherworldly in him. Michael Ochs Archives<\/p>\n The Beach Boys\u2019 surviving members, including Love, Al Jardine, 83, and Bruce Johnston, 83, also paid tribute to Wilson with a touching statement shared to the band\u2019s<\/a> official Instagram page. <\/p>\n Dennis and Carl Wilson, Brian Wilson\u2019s brothers, passed away in 1983 and 1998, respectively.<\/p>\n \u201cWe will continue to cherish the timeless music we made together and the joy he brought to millions over the decades,\u201d\u00a0they wrote in the wake of Wilson\u2019s passing. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd while we will miss him deeply, his legacy will live on through his songs and in our memories,\u201d they concluded. \u201cOur hearts go out to Brian\u2019s family and his loved ones during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
