FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. \u2014 The Atlanta Falcons have made a decision about starting nickel Billy Bowman Jr. He will be inactive for the team’s Monday Night Football bout with the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n
It is possible Dee Alford will fill in at nickel in Bowman’s absence. Alford has been playing in A.J. Terrell’s vacant spot for the last two games, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury. Terrell will return to the starting lineup, though, this Monday after not receiving a game designation Saturday on the team’s game report.<\/a><\/p>\n Bowman popped up on the team’s injury report late last week with a knee\/hamstring injury. He was originally listed as questionable in the team’s Saturday game report, the same report that ruled out wide receiver Darnell Mooney, also with a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n In a surprise turn, the Falcons also chose to keep fellow receiver Ray-Ray McCloud inactive against the Buffalo Bills. McCloud is not dealing with an injury, and is considered a healthy scratch for Atlanta.<\/p>\n
