Their star point guard, Tyrese Haliburton, played phenomenally the entire season until game seven of the finals, when he ruptured his right Achilles tendon, ending his and Indiana\u2019s hopes of winning the title.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder went on to win the championship, but the Pacers\u2019 problems didn\u2019t end there. We\u2019re going to shock the league. However, in five grueling games, the Fever went down fighting against the eventual champions, the Las Vegas Aces.<\/p>\n<p>How Did Haliburton React to Seeing the Heartfelt Gesture by Indiana Fans?<\/p>\n<p>Indiana fans hope to see their star man back on the court soon. In the meantime, as a beautiful gesture, many fans from Indiana sent Haliburton heartfelt cards via mail and email, wishing him a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Upon seeing the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Pacers\/status\/1977445537528893677\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">letters sent to him by his fans<\/a> wishing a speedy recovery inside the Pacers training facility, Haliburton said, \u201cEvery letter is obviously a different person showing love. It\u2019s pretty special. I dont even know where to start.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cPacer fans, what\u2019s up, guys? Here I am in front of a lot of letters that came from you all. It\u2019s been a tough time, and these are more than what I have already seen, and a lot came electronically. So, I appreciate you all for your love and support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Haliburton concluded, \u201cIt\u2019s been a rough couple of months for me, but I am getting better. I appreciate all the love and support that not only I but also our team and our group have received. It means the world to me, and I will cherish it for a very long time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indiana is currently 2-1 in the preseason and will play its last preseason game against the Spurs on Friday before the new season\u2019s opening night.
