Following last month\u2019s 1.5 update, which introduced new features and the Liquid Glass design, Apple Invites<\/a> was updated today with new \u201cfestive event backgrounds.\u201d Here\u2019s what\u2019s new.<\/p>\n

Apple Invites adds festive event backgrounds<\/p>\n

Apple Invites was launched<\/a> in February as a competitor to popular platforms, such as Partiful. Since then, it has added interesting and welcome features, such as Home Screen widgets, support for adding links<\/a> to invitations, calendar sync<\/a>, and video playback for shared albums.<\/p>\n

Today, Apple rolled out an update just in time for users who may already be planning end-of-year get-togethers. Here\u2019s what\u2019s new, according to the release notes:<\/p>\n

New festive event backgrounds help set the vibe for your end-of-year gatherings.<\/p>\n

This update contains bug fixes and performance improvements.<\/p>\n

Apple Invites requires an iCloud+ subscription to send invites. You can download Apple Invites<\/a> on the App Store.<\/p>\n
