Her mood, her energy, her positivity is all enhanced by moving her body for an hour and focussing on herself.\u2019 <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-19ghd8k emevuu60\">Indeed, in her cover interview for the November issue, Vicky told us: \u2018I\u2019ve got myself relatively strong over the past few years for my mental health,\u2019 using exercise as a tool to manage her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/health\/female-health\/a27323455\/pmdd\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/health\/female-health\/a27323455\/pmdd\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"PMDD\" data-node-id=\"4.1\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PMDD<\/a> (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder \u2013 a severe form of PMS that causes significant emotional and physical symptoms). <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-19ghd8k emevuu60\">Of course, her workouts also have physical benefits: \u2018[Her workouts] tick all the boxes, working each of the major muscle groups to maintain strength and muscle mass,\u2019 Thompson explains. To help her achieve her goals, there\u2019s one training non-negotiable: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/workouts\/a40218848\/progressive-overload\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/workouts\/a40218848\/progressive-overload\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"progressive overload\" data-node-id=\"6.1\" class=\"body-link css-7bauu1 emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">progressive overload<\/a>. Once those two weeks are up, where three rounds are listed, increase to four. Where two rounds are listed, increase to three.
