But Wahlberg and his family have to protect themselves as they battle against someone Wahlberg\u2019s character, Dan, used to know from his former life as an assassin, played by Kit Harrington.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the plot for \u2018The Family Plan 2\u2019?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the official description:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In \u201cThe Family Plan 2,\u201d it\u2019s the holiday season and Dan (Mark Wahlberg) has planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids to celebrate overseas\u2014until a mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) shows up with unfinished business. An international game of cat-and-mouse ensues as Dan and his family battle, bicker, and bond their way through a series of bank heists, holiday hijinks, and car chases amid scenic European terrain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The film also stars Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Peter Lindsey, Theodore Lindsey and Reda Elazouar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Family Plan 2 is directed and executive produced by Simon Cellan Jones from a script by executive producer David Coggeshall. Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson produce via Municipal Pictures. Skydance\u2019s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger also produce with John G.
