Message-based visits start at $29, and video visits cost $49.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The healthcare service doesn\u2019t require insurance or a One Medical membership and can help treat issues like pink eye, lice, and more than 10 skin-related issues, including eczema, bug bites, contact dermatitis, fungal rashes, and more. The service also covers EpiPen and asthma medication renewals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/06\/27\/amazon-one-medical-amazon-clinic-consolidation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">started offering<\/a> a pay-per-visit virtual healthcare service for adults in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis service isn\u2019t meant to replace a family\u2019s relationship with their child\u2019s pediatrician, but rather to serve as a convenient option for those \u2018in-between\u2019 moments for parents with time-sensitive concerns who don\u2019t already have on-demand access through a One Medical membership,\u201d said Natasha Bhuyan, MD, family physician and national medical director for Amazon One Medical, in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/retail\/amazon-one-medical-pay-per-visit-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">press release<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The move comes as companies like Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aha.org\/aha-center-health-innovation-market-scan\/2024-11-05-walgreens-cvs-and-walmart-scale-back-health-care-amid-financial-strain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">scaling back their retail health services<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon last week <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/10\/08\/amazon-pharmacy-is-launching-vending-machines-for-prescription-drugs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">debuted prescription vending machines<\/a> at its One Medical clinics, starting in Los Angeles. The kiosks have a range of commonly prescribed medications, including antibiotics, inhalers, and blood pressure medications.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These new kiosks could disrupt brick-and-mortar pharmacy businesses, which are already struggling. In 2018, Amazon\u00a0purchased online pharmacy PillPack\u00a0for $750 million and then\u00a0launched Amazon Pharmacy\u00a0in 2020.
