The Avs are back in action and still without their top goalie. Buffalo found their offense, and the Red Wings impressed with another big win in their division. Colorado Hockey Now<\/p>\n

After more than 72 hours between the conclusion of last game and the start of tonight\u2019s matchup in Columbus, the Avs are finally back in action to close out a two-game road trip.<\/p>\n

If they beat Columbus, it\u2019ll be their second time in three seasons that they start the year without a regulation loss through five games. They started the 2023-24 season 6-0-0 and the 2024-25 season 0-4-0.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re going to keep riding Scott Wedgewood. But the latest update about Mackenzie Blackwood makes it seem like they\u2019re getting close to having a tandem again.<\/p>\n

Detroit Hockey Now:\u00a0The Atlantic division has had some interesting games so far this season. On Wednesday, the desperate Buffalo Sabres went crazy on the Ottawa Senators. They let in four goals, but doubled them up, earning their first victory of the season by a final score of 8-4.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Detroit, the Red Wings found a way to win<\/a>, defeating the defending champion Florida Panthers without one of their top forwards.<\/a><\/p>\n
