Kim Kardashian<\/a> is just looking for \u201ca little bit of grace\u201d as she navigates parenting her eldest, North West<\/a>. <\/p>\n

During an appearance on Alex Cooper\u2019s \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast<\/a>, the reality star was asked about the online chatter surrounding North recently, as the 12-year-old made headlines for wearing a corseted top<\/a> and for sporting a dermal piercing on her finger.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI think like, any mom of a teenager or a preteen, unless you\u2019ve been here, like, please \u2015 we just need a little bit of grace,\u201d the Skims founder said in the interview, released Wednesday. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s interesting because all the kids are like wearing the same things, but then my daughter tries to wear it, and then I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, we\u2019re never wearing that again,\u2019\u201d Kardashian explained. \u201cUnfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she\u2019s, you know, usually a girl that dresses like a tomboy most of the time,\u201d the reality star added of the unique position her daughter is in. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she wanted to try something that her friends were wearing and went to the same place that they went to, and they all got these outfits, and then she wears them, and it\u2019s just like, \u2018OK, wait, maybe you can\u2019t wear that,\u2019 you know? And so as a mom, you\u2019re kind of learning at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut what I do know is that my baby\u2019s such a good girl, and such a sweet girl,\u201d the \u201cAll\u2019s Fair\u201d actor said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just think anyone that\u2019s raising kids, especially four kids by myself, I\u2019m doing the best that I can and my babies are good babies,\u201d she said. \u201cI just urge everyone to like, not be judgmental and to have grace on single moms trying to figure it all out with like, you know, a preteen.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a lot \u2015 if you know, you know,\u201d the 44-year-old added with a laugh. <\/p>\n

In the candid interview, Kardashian also shed light on what it\u2019s like to co-parent with her ex-husband Kanye West, who now goes by Ye. The two share four children: daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 7; and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 6. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not easy. But, I mean, I raise the kids, you know, full-time,\u201d Kardashian told Cooper. \u201cThey live with me. I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad, and I think he knows that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI push for it all the time, but I also protect them when, you know, it\u2019s time for that. And it goes in waves and phases and it\u2019s a lot of work,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

When Cooper asked how long it had been since Ye saw his kids, Kardashian answered honestly. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s probably been a couple months since we\u2019ve heard from him,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

Kardashian and West were married from 2014 to 2021.
