Saints running back Alvin Kamara suggested today that he\u2019d rather retire than play anywhere other than New Orleans.<\/p>\n
Asked about rumors that he could be on the trade block, Kamara says he doesn\u2019t want that and doesn\u2019t think Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis does either.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know where that \u2014 we talked about and we were looking at each other like the little Spider-Man meme, like, \u2018Did you say something? Did I say something?\u2019 I don\u2019t know where that came from,\u201d Kamara said.<\/p>\n
Kamara, who works as Growth and Engagement Advisor for NASCAR, said that\u2019s the sport he\u2019s involved in the business of, and in the NFL he\u2019s just focused on playing for the Saints.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been vocal that I don\u2019t want to go anywhere, and I\u2019ve said it countless times, y\u2019all know that, I think everybody knows that, the fan base knows that. At the end of the day, it\u2019s business. I don\u2019t go upstairs, I don\u2019t have an office upstairs, I\u2019ve got an office in Charlotte at NASCAR, but I don\u2019t have an office upstairs. So I don\u2019t really sit in those meetings, I don\u2019t know what happens up there. I\u2019ve just got to keep my head down,\u201d Kamara said.<\/p>\n
Kamara hinted that if the Saints do trade him, he\u2019ll just retire and go enjoy himself on the beach.<\/p>\n
