While the men admire making their first dollar without Jim at the helm, they each share ideas for the company\u2019s future, with Georgie having a particularly grand vision for the shop, one of which includes a name change to Dr. Tire. Of course,\u00a0Big Bang\u00a0fans will recognize this as the future name of Georgie\u2019s tire shop franchise.<\/p>\n
But don\u2019t expect the name change anytime soon. \u201cThe Dr. Tire nod in the premiere was just a little Easter egg for people who are in the know,\u201d executive producer Steve Holland<\/a> says. \u201cThe name\u2019s not getting changed just yet, but it\u2019s just to sort of look to the future and a confirmation that Georgie has these ambitions that won\u2019t be stopped.\u201d<\/p>\n Troy Harvey \/ CBS<\/p>\n But will those ambitions get in the way of working positively with co-owner Ruben? \u201cIn business, you get ahead and then you fall back again. That\u2019s just what happens; that\u2019s part of business. So yeah, there\u2019s gonna be a lot of back and forth, but working alongside Jessie this season has really been a joy,\u201d Jordan tells TV Insider. Meanwhile, Holland adds, \u201cIt\u2019s gonna be slow growth for the two of them, and that\u2019s part of the fun of it.\u201d<\/p>\n As Jordan puts it, Georgie thinks \u201che\u2019s gonna become Dr. Tire and Ruben has come in, and he\u2019s got these other opinions.\u201d So, they attempt to settle their differences of opinion with a tie-breaker they determine is going to be a foot race. While Georgie suffers some serious blisters after running a foot race in cowboy boots, Jordan reveals, \u201cI wear boots most, mostly every day, so I\u2019m pretty used to\u00a0 [it]. I didn\u2019t get any blisters or anything. I will say one thing, Ruben is a dirty, dirty player when it comes to foot racing,\u201d Jordan adds with a laugh.<\/p>\n If anything, Jordan enjoys getting out on the backlot to shoot the foot race, which is set outdoors, off of the soundstages where most of\u00a0Georgie & Mandy\u2019s First Marriage films. \u201cLook, I\u2019m from Texas. I like being outside and being in nature, being in the wilderness. So yeah, it\u2019s always nice to go out. On Young Sheldon<\/a>, we got to go on location because the Cooper house was on location for the exterior,\u201d Jordan says, reminiscing. \u201cIt\u2019s always good to get out and explore a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n While there are certainly growing pains for Georgie and Ruben\u2019s working relationship, father-in-law Jim offers some advice amid his retirement, which is also a struggle for a man who never used to have a day off. \u201cJim and Georgie are like at completely different parts of their lives, but at the same time they\u2019re kind of still living the same life, because at home they\u2019re just trying to stay out of line of fire,\u201d Jordan shares, hinting at the ever-present tension at the McAllister house.<\/p>\n \u201cThis season [Georgie] is having a couple of beers with Jim.\u00a0 That\u2019s one thing that he started doing, and I think it\u2019s good for their relationship because they\u2019re working on a Mustang together and Jim has stepped up to be some sort of father figure,\u201d Jordan teases about Georgie\u2019s evolving relationship with Jim.<\/p>\n![\"Jessie](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/georgie-and-mandys-first-marriage-season-2-episode-2-jessie-prez-montana-jordan-892x570.jpg\")
