One journalist has explained how Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo changing agents could impact his future at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n
Caicedo has been one of Enzo Maresca\u2019s standout players as they\u2019ve had a mixed start to the season with three wins, two draws and two defeats in their first seven Premier League matches.<\/p>\n
The Ecuador international recently posted a social media statement announcing his split from agent\u00a0Manuel Sierra with Chelsea<\/a> midfielder Caicedo claiming he had \u2018now appointed people he can trust\u2019.<\/p>\n Caicedo\u2019s social media statement read: \u201cChelsea\u00a0Football\u00a0Club star Moises Caicedo has separated from and is no longer represented by his former agent, Manuel Sierra, of Football Division Worldwide, and he is not represented by Ali Barat of Epic.<\/p>\n \u201cThe contract ended on August 14, 2025, and the player has now appointed people he can trust.\u201d<\/p>\n Caicedo moved to Chelsea from Brighton in a deal worth around \u00a3115m in August 2023 in one of the biggest deals in Premier League history.<\/p>\n READ:\u00a0Big Weekend: Liverpool v Man United, Villa, Gyokeres, Postecoglou, Der Klassiker<\/a><\/p>\n There are always rumours that a good player like Caicedo could leave but Football Insider transfer correspondent Pete O\u2019Rourke insists the change of agent doesn\u2019t currently impact his future at Chelsea.<\/p>\n O\u2019Rourke told Football Insider<\/a>: \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019ll have any immediate impact on\u00a0Caicedo\u2018s future.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, maybe he\u2019s looking after his own personal things if he is changing agents or whatever.<\/p>\n \u201cChelsea are very relaxed about the situation. They don\u2019t think any upheaval on changing agents will have any effect on his long-term future at Stamford Bridge. He\u2019s been arguably Chelsea\u2019s best player this season.<\/p>\n \u201cThey saw him as being key for Chelsea going forward in the future. That hasn\u2019t changed.<\/p>\n \u201cIt would take a huge, big money offer to even convince Chelsea to let Moises Caicedo go. But as I said, he\u2019s so important to them.<\/p>\n \u201cChelsea aren\u2019t even considering that and the player is happy at Chelsea, there\u2019s no doubt about that.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think any of this stuff off the pitch will have any influence on what happens to him on the pitch and it won\u2019t change Chelsea\u2019s stance on him either.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelsea boss Maresca revealed on Friday that Cole Palmer will be out for another six weeks in order to make sure the England international returns \u201cfully fit\u201d.<\/p>\n Maresca told a pre-match press conference: \u201cI was wrong. Unfortunately, he has to be out probably six more weeks.
