horror anthology series \u201cJohn Carpenter Presents,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/john-carpenter-horror-anthology-series-1236403101\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">THR<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Elevation Pictures, the Canadian show is created by showrunners Michael Amo (\u201cThe Listener\u201d) and Will Pascoe (\u201cOrphan Black\u201d),<\/p>\n<p>Set in the remote wilderness of Alaska, the first season will explore the hidden fears and social anxieties of our time as\u00a0a diverse group of characters face a chilling mix of supernatural and existential terror.<\/p>\n<p>The show aims to\u00a0channel both Carpenter\u2019s visual style and musical sensibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to launch into the television space with the master of horror, John Carpenter,\u201d said Christina Piovesan of Elevation Pictures. \u201cWill and Michael bring deep experience in writing and showrunning and we can\u2019t be more excited for this creative team to bring this series to audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amo and Pascoe will share the executive producer credits with Storm King Productions\u2019 Carpenter and Sandy King Carpenter.<\/p>\n<p>John Carpenter will be performing concerts at <a href=\"https:\/\/bloody-disgusting.com\/music\/3852405\/john-carpenter-announces-first-los-angeles-residency-shows\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Belasco in Los Angeles<\/a> on
