That\u2019s the only explanation as to why the fest\u2019s website now features two separate landing pages \u2014 one for their original location in Las Vegas and the other in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The website was recently updates to reflect the second location, with a button to click to sign up for text or email updates. No, we don\u2019t know the dates for the Texas edition, (though we have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalsucks.net\/2025\/10\/07\/serj-tankian-confirms-system-of-a-downs-annual-payche-er-sick-new-world-slot-for-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">good idea of Las Vegas\u2019 dates\u2026<\/a>) but I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll find out soon enough.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that they\u2019re planning two shows instead of their normal single day in Las Vegas means they feel confident about what they have planned. Remember, last time they tried to run a Sick New World, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalsucks.net\/2024\/11\/29\/breaking-sick-new-world-cancelled\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">they had to cancel<\/a> due to a lack of fan interest. At that time, however, they were pretty much running the same headliners and lineup as other more established festivals at a much lower price.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have to wait and see how things shake out moving forward. Have the organizers learned from their missteps or will this be another metal Fyre Fest?
