HAWAII COUNTY, Hawaii (Island News) — Big Island police are asking for the public\u2019s help in locating Lynda Saffer\u00a0who is missing and endangered.<\/p>\n

Saffer, 79, was last seen on Ainaloa Boulevard and Aloha Drive in Pahoa at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025.<\/p>\n

The missing woman is described as being 5-feet 3-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has grey hair, blue eyes and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a purple dress.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information on\u00a0Saffer’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or call\u00a0Hawaii Police Department ‘s\u00a0non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.<\/p>\n
