No. 9 Georgia<\/a> hosts No. 5 Ole Miss<\/a> in a blockbuster matchup in the SEC this Saturday. Despite the Rebels entering the showdown undefeated, the Bulldogs are favored at home.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a testament to their dominance over the past couple of seasons. Ahead of the SEC clash, ESPN\u2019s Heather Dinich and Jordan Rodgers shared their perspectives on what\u2019s at stake and what could decide the outcome during an appearance on Friday\u2019s edition of Get Up.<\/p>\n

First, Dinich emphasized the importance of this stretch for Lane Kiffin\u2019s<\/a> Rebels, who face a couple of brutal road tests. On the other hand, if Georgia falters, the Bulldogs could find themselves on the outside looking in of the College Football Playoff<\/a> when the time comes.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Ole Miss, this is the start of back-to-back road games,\u201d Dinich said. \u201cThey\u2019ve got this one, then they\u2019re at Oklahoma<\/a>. They cannot go 0\u20132 these two weeks, because even though they could finish with a 10\u20132 record, I\u2019m telling you, there\u2019s the potential for a lot of really good 10\u20132 teams \u2014 and Ole Miss would not be a lock for the playoff.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Georgia, they really need to avoid a loss, because if they did lose, that would put them under tremendous pressure to then beat a Texas<\/a> team that\u2019s playing much better, and a Georgia Tech<\/a> team that, Greenie, in case your audience isn\u2019t aware, could be playing for the ACC title this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Rodgers turned his attention to the on-field factors that could swing the game. He identified Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss<\/a> and running back Kewan Lacy<\/a> as the keys to pulling the upset. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s two things for Ole Miss,\u201d Rodgers said. \u201cThe first is Trinidad Chambliss \u2014 his ability to make explosive plays happen downfield. And as Harry would say, \u2018That boy bad.\u2019 Last week, he was kind of just bad against Washington State<\/a>. He was 1-4 on throws of 20-plus yards downfield. When Lane Kiffin dials it up, he has to hit it against this defense.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then in the red zone, Georgia\u2019s top five. Kewan Lacy, the running back, he\u2019s unheralded. I think he\u2019s been overlooked. He\u2019s second in the SEC in rushing yards \u2014 he\u2019s really good. They\u2019re going to have to run the football with Trinidad and him in the red zone to get this one done.\u201d<\/p>\n

All told, the Rebels are aiming to make history, seeking their first back-to-back wins over Georgia in more than 30 years. Ole Miss topped the Bulldogs 28\u201310 in Oxford last season, but Georgia still holds a commanding 33\u201313\u20131 edge in the all-time series and has gone 8\u20132 against the Rebels since 2000.<\/p>\n

Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Rebels is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
