Aerial Powers made a significant impact on the Indiana Fever after signing as a mid-season recruit. Indiana first signed the 5-foot-11 guard on a seven-day hardship contract after season-ending injuries to Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald. Powers quickly proved that she deserved a spot on the roster, which ultimately led to a rest-of-season deal for the 31-year-old veteran.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s common practice for players to play abroad in between seasons<\/a>, and this was the case again for Powers, who has vast experience playing overseas throughout her career as a professional basketball player.<\/p>\n Before signing with the Fever this year, Powers has had stints in South Korea, Turkey and China. She\u2019s now back in Turkey after signing with \u00c7anakkale Belediyespor, joining Fever teammate Shey Peddy. The former Michigan State Spartans standout took to social media on Saturday to share an update on her new job outside the WNBA.<\/p>\n \u201cNew threads.
