Saturday night\u2019s episode of Saturday Night Live made use of host and musical guest Sabrina Carpenter, opening with a musical medley in what is now the show\u2019s fourth Domingo-themed sketch.<\/p>\n
As now-married couple Kelsey and Matt, played by Chloe Fineman and Andrew Dismukes, celebrate Matt\u2019s 30th, Kelsey\u2019s friends\u2014played by Carpenter, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla and newcomer Veronika Slowikowska\u2014emerge to serenade the birthday boy. <\/p>\n
The quartet started with a song about their friend group\u2019s recent trip to Nashville, sung along to the sound of Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia<\/a>\u201d off her most recent album, The Life of a Showgirl. (Carpenter features on another song on the album, the titular \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl.\u201d) <\/p>\n<\/p>\n Unfortunately for Matt, we learn that Domingo made an appearance in Nashville. Undeterred, the group then transition into a second song set to Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cAbracadabra<\/a>\u201d and focused almost entirely on Domingo, \u201cthe man with a goatee and a gold chain\u201d.<\/p>\n Just as Kelsey promises Matt that Domingo is in the past, the man himself makes an appearance and begins performing his own cover of Alex Warren\u2019s \u201cOrdinary<\/a>,\u201d telling Kelsey, \u201cThe night we spent together in Nashville was anything but ordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s Domingo then begins singing, \u201cI know that you took a vow \/ But I am so well-endowed \/ Kelsey we got a noise complaint \/ We shook the whole hotel \/ Got a noise complaint \/ I come in and out of your life \/ \u2018Cause I respect that you are a wife.\u201d<\/p>\n An exasperated Matt ends the sketch by telling Kelsey, \u201cI\u2019m serious, this is strike six,\u201d to which she assures him, \u201cHey babe, it won\u2019t happen again.\u201d<\/p>\n The sketch marks the fourth appearance of Hern\u00e1ndez as Domingo since the character debuted last October<\/a> when episode host Ariana Grande performed a cover of Carpenter\u2019s \u201cEspresso\u201d about Domingo.<\/p>\n
