Anupam Kher has opened up about a deeply personal choice that reflects his values and simplicity. The veteran actor revealed that despite his success, he still lives on rent \u2014 a decision he says is rooted in peace of mind and family harmony. Speaking about his bond with his brother Raju Kher, Anupam also shared that he has been managing his brother\u2019s finances for years and praised his wife, Kirron Kher, for her understanding and support.<\/p>\n
\u2018I Told My Manager Never To Ask Me How Much I Give My Brother\u2019<\/p>\n
During an appearance on Zindagi with Richa on YouTube, Anupam spoke warmly about his brother. \u201cIf every brother remembers what they were like when they were young, there would be no fight. I look at my life like it\u2019s a film. How can I forget that we grew up together?” he said.<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cI must also compliment Kirron (Kirron Kher), because she never, ever asked me, \u2018Why do you do so much for your brother?\u2019 That\u2019s how problems begin. I would sign cheques for Raju, the household, and other things\u2026 I told my manager long ago, \u2018Remember one thing in life, never ask me how much money I\u2019m giving to my brother\u2019.”<\/p>\n
\u2018One Reason I Live On Rent\u2019<\/p>\n
Anupam shared that his strong family values stem from love and fairness. \u201cMy brother has never been jealous of me, that I am more successful than him. He\u2019s amazing that way. My parents lived more with my brother and his wife than they did with me. I become very upset when I see brothers killing each other over property. In the back of my mind, this is one of the reasons why I live on rent,” he said.<\/p>\n
The actor explained that since life has been generous to him, it only feels right to share his success with his loved ones.<\/p>\n
