\n\tBrandy<\/a> had fans worried after abruptly leaving the stage during her concert with Monica<\/a> on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe duo performed as part of their The Boy Is Mine Tour at the United Center in Chicago\u00a0on Saturday night. In videos<\/a> posted online, Brandy can be heard saying: \u201cGive me one second, y\u2019all. I gotta get my \u2026\u201d She didn\u2019t finish the sentence but left the stage and did not return.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Sunday, she posted to her Instagram account an explanation why.<\/p>\n

\n\tAddress her message to her \u201cdear fans in Chicago,\u201d Brandy wrote: \u201cThank you all for the overwhelming love, support, and \u2014 most importantly \u2014 your prayers. I sincerely apologize for the abrupt end to last night\u2019s performance in Chicago. After weeks of nonstop rehearsals, last night I experienced dehydration and feelings of wanting to faint. Everyone involved agreed that prioritizing my well-being was of the utmost importance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI still made the decision to try and return and give it my all despite not feeling OK. With having to make some adjustments and the show being very technical, unfortunately, it was impossible to fully connect sonically with the production. I really appreciate everyone\u2019s best efforts,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to reports, Monica performed the rest of their set solo, and the audience did not get to hear the duo\u2019s iconic song, \u201cThe Boy Is Mine,\u201d for which the tour is named.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn her post, Brandy said she saw a doctor immediately after leaving the arena and has \u201ctaken the proper precautions\u201d to get better going forward. She thanked \u201cmy sister, Monica, for stepping up with such grace and professionalism, and to the entire crew for their continued care and support.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe also thanked her fans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYour understanding, patience, and unwavering belief mean the world to me. I look forward to returning to the stage \u2014 stronger and more grateful than ever \u2014 alongside my girl, Monica, tonight in Indianapolis,\u201d Brandy wrote.<\/p>\n
