Some of the world’s biggest apps have stopped working properly as Amazon Web Services<\/a> (AWS) has gone down and taken a large portion of the internet with it.<\/p>\n Users of Snapchat, Fortnite, Roblox, Canva, Duolingo, Rind Doorbell and more have reported problems, according to Down Detector. “Amazon Web Services (#AWS) infrastructure collapsed and thousands of their clients are facing issues (everything from #Asana to Crunchyroll, McDonald’s and #Roblox),” Game Union TV wrote on X.<\/p>\n AWS is a comprehensive cloud computing platform that performs a range of IT services online and is used by millions of companies. Please note that due to a widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage, you may experience a temporary disruption in our services. The issue is affecting numerous digital services worldwide, including our services.”<\/p>\n A Coinebase spokesman said: “We’re aware many users are currently unable to access Coinbase due to an AWS outage. Our team is working on the issue and we’ll provide updates here. All funds are safe.”<\/p>\n An update on Amazon\u2019s service status website states that “multiple AWS services” are experiencing “increased error rates”.<\/p>\n “We are actively engaged and working to both mitigate the issue and understand root cause. We will provide an update in 45 minutes, or sooner if we have additional information to share,” Amazon said on the page.<\/p>\n Snapchat users have reported getting a message that says “service unavailable” before displaying a C14A error code when attempting to access the photo-sharing app.<\/p>\n Robox players have reported that every game is showing as unavailable while thumbnails won’t load. At the same time, people with Ring doorbells have said they’ve been unable to log into the app.<\/p>\n The Duolingo app has been saying that it is undergoing a “maintenance break” while Worlde players have been asked to: “Please try again later.”<\/p>\n Hundreds of people have also reported that the McDonald’s app isn’t working for them.
