Last week, Tommy Fleetwood\u2019s young son, Frankie, made an eye-opening point to his father while they were playing a round together.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201c[Frankie] just said randomly, \u2018do you know what you\u2019ve never done?\u2019 Fleetwood said. \u201cHe said, \u2018you\u2019ve never won a tournament and I\u2019ve been able to run on to the 18th green.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fleetwood claimed the DP World Tour\u2019s India Championship<\/a> at Delhi Golf Club by two strokes over Japan\u2019s Keita Nakajima\u2014and was embraced by Frankie on the 18th green after sinking the winning putt.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just one of those little things, it means a lot to me,\u201d said Fleetwood, who shot a final-round 65 and finished at 22 under. \u201cIt means so much to me. That was really cool. Then, he jumped to the top of the leaderboard with four straight birdies on Nos. 7\u201310, before essentially sealing the deal with two long birdie putts on Nos. 14 and 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI said yesterday, I felt like I putted great yesterday except for that four- or five-hole stretch,\u201d the 34-year-old Englishman said. \u201cI practiced afterwards and I actually\u2014again, you look at opportunities, the first hole today, I had a 6-footer on the first, left to right, and I actually thought at the time, this is a great way to start a different day, like get some momentum with the putter, feel good with it. I putted amazing today.
