Amorim said after the game that Maguire\u2019s story is something kids should look up to, for the sheer amount of will and courage it took for him to stage a comeback at the club. <\/p>\n

His story will always have him as a favourite of the club. <\/p>\n

Maguire should end his career at Man Utd<\/p>\n

Maguire\u2019s contract expires next summer<\/a>, and it is unlikely that United will renew it on the same terms as he is on now. <\/p>\n

Currently, he earns about \u00a3200k\/week, which is not in line with the wage structure Ineos want to implement at the club, nor does it reflect his advancing age. <\/p>\n

However, if he can agree to a pay cut, then United can do a lot worse than have Maguire in the dressing room as a leader and a model professional. <\/p>\n

His ability to defend the box and the clutch gene are also two things that don\u2019t disappear completely with age, so he can be a useful squad option too. <\/p>\n

As Amorim said, his story is an inspiration for kids, so he should be appropriately rewarded by letting him end his career at the club. <\/p>\n
