MATTHEWS, LA. \u2013 The\u00a0South Dakota Men’s Golf team capped off a strong fall season with a historic showing at the La Tour Intercollegiate, finishing second overall and setting three new program records in the process.\u00a0<\/p>\n
ROUND ONE\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Coyotes opened the tournament with a solid performance, posting a team score of three-under-par to sit in fourth place after the first round. Joe Rohlwing<\/a> led the team with a one-under-par round to set the tone early.\u00a0<\/p>\n ROUND TWO\u00a0<\/p>\n Despite improving their team score in round two, the Coyotes slipped to fifth place in the standings. Shoma Taguchi<\/a> paced the squad with an impressive three-under-par round, keeping South Dakota within striking distance heading into the final day.\u00a0<\/p>\n ROUND THREE\u00a0<\/p>\n The final round proved to be historic for the Coyotes.
