The latest move features two NASCAR Cup Series drivers who will help helm another of the All-Star cars.

According to a Tuesday announcement, Trackhouse Racing drivers Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen will join JR Motorsports for select races next season. They will share the No. 9 Chevrolet, something they did this season while combining for eight starts.

Van Gisbergen piloted the entry to a win on the streets of Chicago and a runner-up finish at Sonoma Raceway in his three starts. Chastain posted three top-five finishes in five starts in the entry, headlined by a third-place finish at Iowa Speedway.

This addition of the Trackhouse Racing drivers continues a string of announcements by JR Motorsports. The team’s lineup continues to evolve ahead of the final two races of the season as multiple full-time drivers return while part-time drivers lock up some starts.

JR Motorsports previously announced that Sammy Smith will return to the No. 8 Chevrolet for a third season. He has two wins and two playoff appearances in two seasons with the team. He currently remains in contention for a spot in the Championship 4.

Justin Allgaier then confirmed that he will return to the No. 7 Chevrolet next season while trying to contend for another championship. He already has a spot in the Championship 4 this season.

JR Motorsports then announced that three other drivers will join the lineup next season while making multiple starts. This includes Trackhouse Racing development driver Connor Zilisch, current JR Motorsports driver Carson Kvapil, and Spire Motorsports driver Rajah Caruth. Zilisch currently competes full-time for JR Motorsports, but he will move up to Cup next season.

The championship-winning organization has not provided details about the number of starts each driver will make or majority of the crew chief lineup. The only confirmed pairing is Rodney Childers, who joins the team to lead the No. 1 team.

No. 1 – Carson Kvapil (part-time), Connor Zilisch (part-time)

No. 7 – Justin Allgaier (full-time)

No. 8 – Sammy Smith (full-time)

No. 9 – Ross Chastain (part-time), Shane van Gisbergen (part-time)

No. 88 – Rajah Caruth (part-time)

JR Motorsports continues to add to its packed lineup of drivers for the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series…

[70
425,1703,3514,656,3335,99
0":"post-242144","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nascar","8":"tag-nascar","9":"tag-nascar-cup-series","10":"tag-nascar-xfinity-series","11":"tag-ross-chastain","12":"tag-shane-van-gisbergen","13":"tag-sports
["GET
