UNC will travel to the Delta Center in Salt Lake City to face No. 8 BYU for its first exhibition game of the preseason Friday night. The Cougars are coming off a run to the Sweet 16 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and feature top NBA prospect A.J. Dybantsa, who chose BYU over UNC and several other schools.<\/p>\n

If you aren\u2019t headed to Utah with the Tar Heels, here\u2019s how you can follow along at home:<\/p>\n

Broadcast Schedule<\/p>\n

Those hoping to listen on the radio can do so at\u00a097.9 FM and 1360 AM,<\/a>\u00a0or by streaming the radio broadcast on\u00a0chapelboro.com.<\/a><\/p>\n

97.9 The Hill\u2019s radio broadcast of Friday\u2019s game will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern time with Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network\u2019s pregame coverage until tip-off. They will also carry postgame coverage for approximately an hour after the conclusion of the game.<\/p>\n

For preseason, regular season and ACC Tournament game broadcasts, you can access the stream (computer, tablet or phone) through chapelboro.com, TuneIN or most streaming apps, but you must be within 75 miles of Chapel Hill and have your location services for your device turned on.\u00a0If you live more than 75 miles outside of Chapel Hill, you can access the Tar Heel Sports Network game broadcast stream through the Varsity Network.<\/a><\/p>\n

TV Schedule<\/p>\n

Television coverage of Friday\u2019s game begins with tip-off at 9 p.m. Eastern time. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, which is ESPN\u2019s online-only streaming service. The game will not be available on traditional cable packages.<\/p>\n

Streaming options<\/p>\n

A live stream will be available through the ESPN app or on\u00a0ESPN.com.<\/a> To access the stream for the game, you must have a TV package which includes a subscription specifically including ESPN+. Packages which include only the base ESPN family of networks will not have access to the ESPN+ broadcast.<\/p>\n
