The N.C. High School Athletic Association girls golf championships are next week, featuring two 18-hole rounds across Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 8A championships are held at Pinehurst No. 6, 7A is at Sapona Golf Club in Lexington, 6A and 5A are at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, 4A and 3A are at Longleaf Golf & Family Club in Southern Pines, and the 1A\/2A championship is at Gates Four Country Club in Fayetteville.<\/a><\/p>\n

The each classification has two regionals to determine who advances to states.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

In 8A, the top two teams and top eight individuals not on those teams automatically qualify.<\/p>\n

In 2A\/1A, the top four teams and the remaining best 16 individuals qualify.<\/p>\n

In 7A, 6A, 5A, 4A, and 3A, the top three teams qualify as do the remaining best nine individuals.<\/p>\n

If a team qualifies three individuals, they will score as a team at the state championships.<\/p>\n

This will be the first time the NCHSAA has held seven girls golf championships.<\/a><\/p>\n
