And he could hardly miss in a dominant first-round win over Herkimer Originals to open TBT.<\/p>\n<p>Buddy dropped 24 points, and he made 7-for-9 from 3-point range.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the adrenaline was there from the start,\u201d <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fingerlakes1.com\/2025\/07\/20\/after-red-eye-flight-buddy-boeheim-makes-statement-debut-fueled-by-orange-ties\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Buddy told Fox Sports postgame<\/a>. \u201cBeing out there, and the nerves were there. But playing with Elijiah (Hughes), Jacob Gilyard for the first time, playing with my brother and all these great former \u2018Cuse guys\u2026was super fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Buddy&#8217;s shooting has always been his greatest skill, dating back to his days as a youngster taking on older bro Jimmy on a Little Tykes hoop in their house.<\/p>\n<p>Now, back in Syracuse colors, Buddy looks right at home.
