Work started Tuesday to remove &#8220;Nomade.&#8221; The well-known white-letter sculpture is expected to return, restored, in spring 2026. Grant money will also fund security upgrades and accessibility improvements. \u201cSince 2009, the Pappajohn Sculpture Park has welcomed more than 3.2 million visitors,\u201d said Kelly Baum, the Art Center\u2019s director and chief executive officer. \u201cThanks to Prairie Meadows\u2019 leadership and commitment, we can ensure this beloved space remains welcoming and inspiring for generations to come.\u201d The free, open-daily park is home to works by internationally known artists.
