This is the game plan. Obliterate the opponent for 45 minutes then ping it around for the next 45 minutes to conserve energy and control the match. Second half goals will be luxuries but not required.Michael Olise is struggling to find rapport on overlapping runs with any right-back who isn’t Konrad Laimer. On the bright side, Luis Díaz is thriving with Laimer next to him. It will be a blessing when Josip Stanišić and Alphonso Davies return to left-back and Laimer can help Olise get his groove back.Complete performance from Lennart Karl in his first Champions League start. Vincent Kompany’s staff is integrating him at the right pace.
