The original Hina tribe dominated the early stages of Survivor 49<\/a>, coming in first place in every single challenge. And when you dominate to that degree, you can pretty much do whatever you want, even if it is deemed \u201ccringe.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Hina would show up at challenges chanting their tribe name repeatedly. Whether that was meant to pump themselves up or intimidate the competition is open to debate, but either way, it was not appreciated, at least not by their rivals on the Uli tribe.\n<\/p>\n

That became clear in this week\u2019s episode when Savannah Louie said after voting out Matt Williams<\/a> that, \u201cWe did not start a war tonight. You know who started the war was the old Hina tribe every time they did that stupid \u2018Hina! Hina!\u2019 chant.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

With that in mind, we can pretty much guarantee you the new post-tribe-swap Hina (which is mostly comprised of former Ulis)\u00a0did not like that the new Kele tribe (made up mostly of former Hinas) was up to the same thing, showing up at this week\u2019s immunity competition not only chanting the Kele tribe name, but even forming an arch for tribe members to walk through. Well, the new Hinas would not have liked it if they saw it, which they didn\u2019t since they walked into the challenge after the Kele celebration was already over. Oh well.\n<\/p>\n

But in an exclusive deleted scene from this week\u2019s episode (which can be watched at the top of the article), we see the Kele tribe choreographing their new celebration back at the beach. And it seems Kristina Mills and Sophie Segreti are the choreographers in charge of the routine.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cDo we want to talk about what our chant or cheer is going to be?\u201d asks Sophie.\n<\/p>\n

Several options are then discussed, including a call and response involving the Kele tribe name, and then the spirit tunnel concept, which ends up winning the day (and\u2026 some might say\u2026 the challenge!).\n<\/p>\n

All of this is done under the watchful eye of former Uli Shannon Fairweather, who wisely stays neutral on the topic, explaining when asked for input that, \u201cWhatever the spirit team thinks, I am here for.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

What would the new Hina tribe make of this display had they seen it? Would it have been more or less cringe than previous pre-challenge displays? Our guess is decidedly more, since it involved actual choreography and a tunnel as opposed to simply chanting. Thankfully for the new Hinas, they never had to bear witness to the routine.
