A pair of Philadelphia Eagles got the race started today at Dover Motor Speedway. Jihaad Campbell and Nakobe Dean were on the command. The two NFL stars were great on the mic as they told the NASCAR <\/a>drivers to start engines.<\/p>\n Campbell was the first-round pick for the Philadelphia Eagles this season at the NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Dean has been with the organization for a few years now and has a Super Bowl ring. The two linebackers were there in Dover today to get the NASCAR race started.<\/p>\n This is how you start a race<\/a>! It\u2019s also a great reminder that the NFL season isn\u2019t that far away.<\/p>\n It\u2019s always great to get these stars from outside of the sport to participate in NASCAR weekend. While different sports, football and NASCAR fans have a lot in common, and there is a lot of overlap between the two.<\/p>\n So, the NASCAR Cup Series is ready to get going at Dover Motor Speedway. We\u2019ve got the Philadelphia Eagles in attendance. It\u2019s a hot day in Delaware, and should be a great day for racing.<\/p>\n During the race we will see pit stops matter a lot. First, these drivers have to figure out the track after rain washed it clean.<\/p>\n Philadelphia Eagles ready for Dover NASCAR race<\/p>\n These two Philadelphia Eagles, Nakobe Dean and Jihaad Campbell, are fearsome linebackers on the track. I\u2019m sure today they will be thanking the powers that be that football season is in the fall and winter and not in July.<\/p>\n As for the NASCAR Cup Series, it is all year long more or less. Dale Earnhardt Jr. knows<\/a> today is going to be a hot one and he does not envy the field for that.<\/p>\n Dale Earnhardt Jr. remembers his days as a driver. He is going to bring his insights and analysis to the race for answers to keep up and digest what they are watching on the track. He only has this week and next before his time on TV this season comes to an end.<\/p>\n Dover Motor Speedway is a tough track. Rain last night has completely washed away the rubber that ARCA and Xfinity put down on the track.
