If USC sophomore safety Kennedy Urlacher<\/a> made a difference in Saturday\u2019s 34-24 loss to Notre Dame, it was minimal. Urlacher, who spent his 2024 freshman season with the Fighting Irish, only played 14 special teams in his return to South Bend in Week 8. He did not record any snaps.<\/p>\n

Urlacher was one of 12 players who transferred from Notre Dame last offseason to appear in college football games last week. Here\u2019s how they all performed. <\/p>\n

QB Steve Angeli<\/a> | Syracuse (3-4): Before he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury Sept. 20 vs. Clemson, Angeli threw for 1,317 yards and 10 touchdowns while completing 98-256 passes with only 2 interceptions in four games.<\/p>\n

OL Ty Chan<\/a> | Connecticut (5-2): Started and played all 62 offensive snaps at right guard in a 38-23 victory over Boston College (1-6), allowing 2 quarterback hurries in 39 pass-blocking snaps.<\/p>\n

WR Deion Colzie<\/a> | Miami Ohio (4-3): Did not play in the RedHawks\u2019 44-30 win against Eastern Michigan (2-6). No reports explain his absence. <\/p>\n

OL Pat Coogan<\/a> | No. 2 Indiana (7-0): Started and played all 58 offensive snaps at center in a 38-13 victory against Michigan State (3-4), giving up just 1 quarterback hurry. Hoosiers rushers registered 59 yards and 1 touchdown on 8 carries (7.4 yards per carry) when running middle left or middle right in the game, which he is primarily responsible for.<\/p>\n

DL Tyson Ford<\/a> | California (5-2): Played a career high 8 snaps and did not record any stats, but did get penalized for a delay of game, in a 21-18 victory over North Carolina (2-4).\u00a0<\/p>\n

EDGE Aiden Gobaira<\/a> | James Madison (6-1): Made his first career start and played 34 defensive snaps in a 63-27 win over Old Dominion (4-3). He officially had 5 tackles, and Pro Football Focus also awarded him with a sack, a quarterback hurry and 3 run stops.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to playing defense, Gobaira is a special teams ace, assisting on the kick return, punt coverage, punt return and field goal kick and field goal block teams.<\/p>\n

CB Jaden Mickey<\/a> | Boise State (5-2): Started and played 63 of 71 snaps \u2014 mostly at nickel \u2014 tying for the team lead with 7 tackles (6 solo), 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 pass breakup in a 56-31 victory against UNLV (6-1). PFF also credited him with 4 run stops. However, he gave up 6 catches for 115 yards and 1 touchdown on 10 targets. Mickey also contributed to kick return, punt coverage, punt return and field goal block.<\/p>\n

OL Sam Pendleton<\/a> | No. 17 Tennessee (5-2): Started and played 82 of 85 offensive snaps at center in a 37-20 loss to No. 4 Alabama (6-1). Pendleton did not give up any pressure in 56 pass-blocking snaps. Meanwhile, Volunteers rushers gained 65 yards on 8 carries (8.1 yards per carry) when running middle left or middle right, which he is primarily responsible for.\u00a0<\/p>\n

OL Rocco Spindler<\/a> | Nebraska (5-2): Started at right guard and only played 10 snaps before injuring his finger<\/a> in a 24-6 loss to Minnesota (5-2).<\/p>\n

WR Jayden Thomas<\/a> | No. 16 Virginia (6-1): Played 11 offensive snaps and caught 1 of 2 targets for -1 yards in a 22-20 win against Washington State (3-4). Thomas also appeared on kick coverage, kick return, punt coverage and punt return.<\/p>\n

LB Kennedy Urlacher<\/a> | USC (5-2): Contributed to kick coverage, kick return and punt coverage in a 34-24 loss to No. 12 Notre Dame (5-2).<\/a> He did not record any stats.<\/p>\n

DE Andrew Yanoshak<\/a> | Dayton (5-2): Had a tackle in a 23-17 loss to Butler (5-3).<\/p>\n
