Allegedly, he grabbed and shook her while shouting in her face.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tA source tells Variety that \u201cOuter Banks\u201d star <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/chase-stokes\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chase-stokes\" data-tag=\"chase-stokes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chase Stokes<\/a> witnessed Pate demonstrating physical and verbal aggression and immediately stepped in to protect the PA. After he separated the two, fellow actor <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/madelyn-cline\/\" id=\"auto-tag_madelyn-cline\" data-tag=\"madelyn-cline\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Madelyn Cline<\/a> also intervened to help de-escalate the confrontation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Netflix series is currently in production on its fifth and final season in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Representatives for Netflix did not respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cOuter Banks\u201d follows a group of teenagers living in a coastal town in North Carolina as they navigate love, friendship and social divides while investigating why the ringleader of the group\u2019s father went missing. The series debuted on Netflix in 2020 and was renewed for a fifth and final season in November 2024. Along with Stokes and Cline, the cast includes Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Drew Starkey, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, Fiona Palomo, J. Anthony Crane and Cullen Moss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPate co-created \u201cOuter Banks\u201d with his twin brother, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke. He also created the Amazon Prime Video musical teen drama \u201cThe Runarounds,\u201d which he co-produced with his brother and Burke. Pate launched his career by writing and directing the 1996 thriller \u201cThe Grave,\u201d before he and Josh created the supernatural dramedy \u201cG vs E\u201d (later renamed \u201cGood vs Evil\u201d).
