\n\tProduction on the fifth and final season of Outer Banks<\/a> is continuing following an on-set incident, in which co-creator, executive producer, co-showrunner and director Jonas Pate<\/a> allegedly grabbed and shook a production assistant, sources tell Deadline. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Netflix<\/a> series is shooting in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Pate, who is currently directing, allegedly shook the female crew member while shouting in her face several days ago.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to TMZ<\/a>, which first reported the incident, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes<\/a>, who plays John B. Routledge, had to step in to separate them as Madelyn Cline<\/a>, who plays Sarah Cameron, also attempted to de-escalate the situation.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere has been no disruption in production after the confrontation, with Pate continuing to direct, sources said. Jonas Pate, who co-created and runs Outer Banks with his twin brother Josh Pate and Shannon Burke, typically directs six out of 10 episodes a season.<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for Netflix declined comment. <\/p>\n

\n\tOuter Banks was renewed for a fifth and final season<\/a> last November, ahead of the show\u2019s Season 4, Part 2 debut on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 4 left off with the Pogues in Morocco, after they were drawn back into the \u201cG\u201d game as they set out to find Blackbeard\u2019s treasure. The heartbreaking finale saw the death of one of their own, when JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow) is stabbed by his biological father.<\/p>\n
