Cheryl Hines isn\u2019t holding back.<\/p>\n

The Curb Your Enthusiasm actress, currently on a press tour for her upcoming novel Unscripted, took a dig at her husband\u2019s alleged mistress during a recent interview.<\/p>\n

In a preview clip from the Katie Miller Podcast, Hines, 60, was asked how she decides which rumors to respond to regarding her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you always have to consider the source, right?\u201d Hines responded<\/a>. \u201cSo that\u2019s where I start. And then it ends with a conversation with Bobby. Getting to the truth of the matter and then that\u2019s where it ends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller also brought up allegations by former New York Magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi about the \u201csexting scandal\u201d she was involved in with Kennedy Jr., 71, during his 2024 presidential campaign, as well as the 32-year-old\u2019s plans to write her own tell-all.<\/p>\n

Hines chuckled at the thought of Nuzzi\u2019s book before recalling the \u201cchaos\u201d Nuzzi claims brought to her life for over a year.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, Bobby had been running for president and it was an exhausting year and a half of headlines and rumors and articles and chaos. And at that time, I thought, Ok, this is more chaos and more rumors,\u201d Hines said. \u201cIt was a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hines added that the allegations came around the same time she was grieving the loss of a family member. \u201cI had just lost my nephew\u2026so you have a real loss and a real family situation and then to have a story was distracting at best, but also in the scheme of what\u2019s real, what\u2019s not, what\u2019s important, what\u2019s not, it was not ranking up in the this is what\u2019s important in life category.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd now, I don\u2019t know. I have no idea. I don\u2019t know this person, don\u2019t know their intentions. I could guess but I won\u2019t,\u201d Hines added with another laugh. \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hines went on to share that one thing she \u201creally learned\u201d during her husband\u2019s presidential campaign was how desperate people are to become \u201cinvolved in the conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that she wasn\u2019t just referring to Nuzzi but \u201ca lot of people,\u201d Hines said, \u201cThey spend a lot of time figuring out how to write something that\u2019s going to get people\u2019s attention and if they do then they are really celebrating. Whether it\u2019s true or false, doesn\u2019t matter. If it gets people\u2019s attention it\u2019s a celebration, it\u2019s a success for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unscripted is set to hit shelves on November 11. Meanwhile, Nuzzi\u2019s book, which has yet to be confirmed by a publisher, is reportedly scheduled for an early December release.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, details of the tell-all have leaked, with sources claiming<\/a> it includes \u201csextually charged messages\u201d Nuzzi received from the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.<\/p>\n

Nuzzi has maintained her relationship with RFK Jr. never became physical, but was something she \u201cshould have disclosed\u201d to her former employer, she said in a statement per the New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Kennedy Jr. previously stated he only met Nuzzi once, when she interviewed him during his 2024 presidential campaign.<\/p>\n
