\u201cThe hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters,\u201d the insider said, adding, \u201cThe last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family. [She] raised her daughters to be strong and is leading by example for them.\u201d At the same time, the source says that Kidman is in a \u201cgood headspace and has been very positive\u201d throughout it all.<\/p>\n
In the past, both Kidman and Urban have opened up about their holiday traditions. In an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last year, Kidman said she puts her holiday lights up early. \u201cYes, I have lights up. I\u2019m the person who has the lights up very, very early. We put them up at the beginning of November,\u201d she said, per The Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Babygirl star clarified that they still celebrate Thanksgiving, however. \u201cNo, we do a huge Thanksgiving. I just like to have the lights up. So we\u2019ve got the lights up. I apologized (to) all the neighbors,\u201d she went on, adding that she wishes they were called \u201cwinter lights\u201d instead of \u201cChristmas lights.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are negotiating calling them winter lights,\u201d Kidman said. \u201cI want to start a whole movement that allows winter lights to stay up.
