Brandin Cooks could be on the move again \u2014 and if he is, the Saints wide receiver would make NFL history.<\/p>\n

Cooks, in his second stint with New Orleans, might be traded by the league\u2019s Nov. 4 trade deadline, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network<\/a>, and he\u2019d become the first player traded five times.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old is one of only three players to have been traded four times \u2014 along with linebacker Kiko Alonso and running back Eric Dickerson \u2014 and he\u2019s played with the Saints (twice), as well as the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n

So far this season, Cooks has 14 receptions for 127 yards with the Saints \u2014 a team that was thrown into disarray when quarterback Derek Carr stunningly retired<\/a> during the offseason.<\/p>\n

With QB Spencer Rattler and first-year head coach Kellen Moore, the Saints entered Sunday\u2019s game against the Buccaneers at 1-6.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s in the first year of a two-year, $13 million deal, with a $4.8 million signing bonus and a base salary of $1.26 million.<\/p>\n

Rapoport called a trade of Cooks \u201cvery possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

His production has declined every season since 2020, and the 5-foot-10 Cooks has yet to catch a touchdown pass this year.<\/p>\n

Jakobi Meyers of the Las Vegas Raiders, Jaylen Waddle of the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers\u2019 Romeo Doubs are also among the wide receivers expected to be on the trade market in the coming week.<\/p>\n
