The Hoosiers\u00a0earned\u00a011 first-place votes and\u00a01,589 total voting points.<\/p>\n<p>IU also stayed at No. 2 in the USA Today Coaches&#8217; poll, receiving 1,524 voting points but zero first-place votes. The Hoosiers\u00a0have been ranked in both the AP Top-25 and USA Today Coaches&#8217; Poll for 22 consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Other Big Ten teams ranked in the\u00a0AP top-25\u00a0poll include No. 1\u00a0Ohio State, No.\u00a06 Oregon and No. 21 Michigan.\u00a0Indiana has or will\u00a0play\u00a0three teams currently or previously ranked this season: vs. Illinois, at Penn State, at Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>IU dominated UCLA on Saturday afternoon in a 56-6 blowout win at Memorial Stadium.\u00a0The Hoosiers immediately set the tone on the second play of the game as linebacker Aiden Fisher returned an interception for a touchdown, and Indiana never looked back from there.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana&#8217;s offense shook off an early turnover and scored\u00a0a touchdown on seven of its next eight drives. The Hoosiers totaled 475 total yards on offense, including 262 rushing yards and four rushing scores.<\/p>\n<p>Quarterback Fernando Mendoza led IU&#8217;s passing effort completing 15-of-22 passes for 168 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.\u00a0Wide receiver E.J. Williams Jr. tallied a career-high five catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Elijah Sarratt accounted for\u00a0IU&#8217;s\u00a0third touchdown reception.<\/p>\n<p>In the backfield, Roman Hemby exploded for\u00a0two touchdowns and 81 yards on 17 carries. Kaelon Black averaged 7.0 yards per carry with 10 rushes for 70 yards. Both Fernando and Alberto Mendoza scored rushing touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Defensively, IU held UCLA to just 201 total yards and 3.8 yards per play. The Bruins converted just one third-down all game and coughed up three turnovers. Indiana&#8217;s defense generated three sacks, seven tackles for loss, six pass breakups, two interceptions, two quarterback hurries and one forced fumble.<\/p>\n<p>The victory keeps Indiana&#8217;s undefeated record intact at 8-0 with four regular season games remaining.\u00a0IU sits atop the Big Ten standings with Ohio State.<\/p>\n<p>Up next, Indiana heads out East\u00a0next weekend for a road clash at Maryland on Saturday afternoon.
