(670 The Score)\u00a0The Bears’ four-game winning streak\u00a0came to an end\u00a0Sunday in Baltimore with their 30-16 loss to the Ravens.<\/p>\n
Once again, the Bears struggled in the red zone. On three trips inside Baltimore’s 20-yard line, Chicago produced just one touchdown. The woes included a sequence in the final two minutes in which the Bears\u00a0had first-and-goal from the Ravens\u2019 3-yard line and didn’t score on four plays.<\/p>\n
The Bears settled for three field goals by kicker Cairo Santos earlier in the day, leaving points on the field in a loss that dropped them to 4-3.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got to find a way to get into the end zone, and we got to find a way to stop the bleeding when you start bleeding,\u201d Bears quarterback Caleb Williams told reporters after the game. \u201cI think I can do a better job with that,\u00a0helping out\u00a0and leading these guys.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williams was 25-of-38 for\u00a0285 yards\u00a0and an interception. It marked the second straight game he didn’t throw a touchdown pass. The Bears\u2019 lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter on running back D\u2019Andre Swift’s two-yard scoring run.<\/p>\n
The Bears tallied 372 total yards of offense but struggled to complete drives, in part due to continued penalty issues. As a team, Chicago was flagged 11 times for 79 yards.<\/p>\n
The Bears have scored touchdowns on just 11 of their 23 red-zone trips in seven games.<\/p>\n
Trailing 16-13 with 9:08\u00a0remaining\u00a0in the game, the Bears faced second-and-10 from their own 4-yard line. Williams threw an interception across the middle of the field. The Ravens scored two plays\u00a0later on quarterback Tyler Huntley’s 10-yard touchdown pass to\u00a0tight end Charlie Kolar. That proved to be the game-changing sequence of the day.<\/p>\n
Huntley was 17-of-22 for 186 yards and a touchdown for the Ravens, who were without two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring).<\/p>\n
The Bears (4-3) will play the Bengals (3-4) next Sunday in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n
