Since the software started rolling out in September, the company has paused distribution of its version of Android 16 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/samsung-galaxy-s23-one-ui-8-rollout-pause-3608934\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">several of its phones<\/a>. Now, though, it looks like the update is back on track on Galaxy S23 and S24.<\/p>\n<p>On Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tarunvats33\/status\/1981692278151467492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tarun Vats<\/a> has shared screenshots that show the Galaxy S23 and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tarunvats33\/status\/1981687993380536359\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">S24 series<\/a> are once again able to download One UI 8 in South Korea. That should mean that the update will resume soon in other affected regions, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t want to miss the best from Android Authority?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/andauth.co\/AAGooglePreferredSource\" class=\"e_ym\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\"><img class=\"e_Yg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/google_preferred_source_badge_light@2x.png\"\/><img class=\"e_Yg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/google_preferred_source_badge_dark@2x.png\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One UI 8 debuted on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-7-review-3584443\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy Z Fold 7<\/a> and Z Flip 7 in July and started hitting other phones in September, starting with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/samsung-galaxy-s25-series-stable-one-ui-8-rollout-usa-3598923\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S25 series<\/a>. Since then, Samsung\u2019s temporarily paused its distribution on various phones without explanation. Samsung most recently stopped the rollout of One UI 8 on the Galaxy S23 series last week, after its update first began <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tarunvats33\/status\/1981687993380536359\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">earlier this month<\/a>. With One UI 8 rolling out again in the S23 and S24\u2019s October update, the update is back on track.<\/p>\n<p>A beta for Samsung\u2019s next big One UI update, One UI 8.5, was rumored to be kicking off sometime in November, but has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/one-ui-8-5-beta-reportedly-delayed-3610386\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reportedly been delayed<\/a>. The delay may have something to do with changes in Samsung\u2019s plans for the Galaxy S26 series that launches next year.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being part of our community.
