In the film, Midthunder portrays a young woman trained in combat from childhood who uses her skills to rescue her kidnapped father (Goggins), embarking on a perilous mission that tests her abilities to the limit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe John Wick franchise\u2019s Derek Kolstad wrote the script and will produce alongside Drew Simon and Sam Speiser of FilmNation\u2019s Infrared Pictures, as well as Josh Adler of Circle of Confusion, with Cameron exec producing on behalf of Lightstorm Entertainment. J.R. Young is overseeing the project for the studio, with production launching in Serbia this month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIntroduced by FilmNation last fall as a sales title at AFM, the film originally had Alan Ritchson attached to star opposite Midthunder, though he was reportedly forced to exit the project due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tA former heavyweight boxer from Romania, Munteanu made his big-screen debut as Viktor Drago in the second and third films in the Creed franchise.
