\n It’s not unique that Ohio State and Purdue are facing each other for the 61st time in their schools’ history, but the Buckeyes and Boilermakers will have a unique kickoff time this year. <\/p>\n
\n\tOhio State and Purdue will kick off at 1 p.m. when they play at Ross-Ade Stadium on Nov. 8, with Big Ten Network set to broadcast the matchup. It’s the Buckeyes’ second time playing on BTN this season after they trounced Grambling State 70-0 in Week 2 on the network.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThis will be the first time in more than 13 years that Ohio State played\u00a0a game at 1 p.m., falling outside the typical college football time slots of noon, 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The last time the Buckeyes played at 1 p.m. was in the 2012 Gator Bowl on Jan. 2, 2012, which closed a 6-7\u00a0season with a 24-17 loss to Florida.\u00a0The last time Ohio State had a 1 p.m.\u00a0kickoff for a regular-season game was against Michigan in 2005, a 25-21 win for the Buckeyes.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Buckeyes are riding a three-game winning streak against the Boilermakers, most recently beating them 45-0 in Columbus last season.\u00a0Ohio State is 42-15-2 all-time against Purdue, excluding a vacated win from the 2010 season.\n<\/p>\n
